Ohau Snow Fields in the Mackenzie High Country is cradled between the Ohau Range to the west in the Main Divide and the Ben Ohau range to the east. Family-run Ohau is the perfect place to enjoy some of the best snow and warm welcomes on the south island.
Lake Ohau is 275 km, 3 hours north of Dunedin. It is a leisurely drive through the towering alps and sweeping plains of the Lower South. On your drive up, be sure to checkout the fascinating Moeraki Boulders and the stop at Hot Tubs of Omarama.
